This table was a project from the shop I used to work at. Its a huge live edge Oak slab. It wasn’t long enough or wide enough for the client, so the solution was a steel insert and steel capped ends. Getting this all to fit and look natural, but I think it turned out really nicely. The bases are three identical frames that were to get a large beam through the middle. I did all the metal fabrication and the bow ties on this table. Definitely the largest table I’ve ever been a part of building at twelve feet long and forty inches wide.
