I built this record cabinet/stereo stand for a friend in california. She had just moved into a new apartment that had a pretty modern feel to it. She wanted something she could place her stereo on and store records and believe it or not CDs. This was built using thirteen ply Baltic Birch for the cabinet itself. I wrapped the entire cabinet in steel and painted it high gloss white. With the simple hairpin legs, this cabinet has a contemporary look and fits into a modern setting without skipping a beat.
