Siberian Elm River Table
These Siberian Elm slabs came from a tree in my yard, it had some wind damage and was at risk of coming down on the house. I had it cut down, milled and kiln dried and am super happy how they turned out. For this table the client wants to utilize the live edge but wanted it to be a it different. We talked about several options and they came up with this idea. Using the steel to fill the space and give the perception of a slot canyon. The bench was made with another Siberian Elm slab to match. With simple steel legs that don’t take away from the design of the table top, this table really makes a statement.
