This was my first live edge Walnut table for a client and it made me realize how gorgeous Walnut can truly be. Luckily I had some of the Box Elder Burl wood left over to use for the bowties, because they really contrast the richness of the Walnut. I love the graduated sizes of the bowties that follow the split in the slab and they really glow under the modern chandelier. The Base is a custom steel X base, powder coated to match an existing railing in the home.
